Marathi Bhasha Diwas 2021-22

Marathi Bhasha Diwas
February 27th is recognized as Marathi Bhasha Day and celebrated in Maharashtra as well as in regions like Goa, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh. Marathi-speaking people in these states honour the rich history and literature of the Marathi language on this day.

Pillai College provided its students with the opportunity to organize Marathi Divas, and they came up with creative ideas such as dance, drama, speeches, and traditional clothing to celebrate the occasion. The college’s intention was to promote awareness of Marathi Divas among all students, and the beauty of the event was that it was celebrated without regard to anyone’s caste, religion, or culture.
